Good News!

  • Mood: Excited
  • Listening to: Modest Mouse :D
  • Reading: We the Living - Ayn Rand
My mom is considering getting me a Rebel for my birthday and Christmas combined, considering the expense.

I'm very, very excited.

While I love my little old point-and-shoot, it's time for an upgrade.

Every gift contains a danger. Whatever gift we have we are compelled to express. And if the expression of that gift is blocked, distorted, or merely allowed to languish, then the gift turns against us, and we suffer.

That sounds just like me! (apart from the part where you get one, I had to buy it myself)
I was using a Powershot G7, which a very nice camera and all. But it's still a compact camera.
Heh,, I've already fallen in love with my new camera, even though I haven't had the chance to -really- try it out.

I hope you'll get one, and if you don't, it's really worth saving for. =]
(though I saw some cool photos in your gallery, considering they were taken with a point-and-shoot makes them all the better)
